Rehab & Turnout

Blue Chip Farms is the ideal rehabilitation facility for racehorses that need time off and turnout. In addition to more than 30 paddocks for turnout, the farm has three walkers to provide controlled exercise and conditioning prior to resuming training. Stalls are roomy and comfortable, nutrition programs are carefully tailored to each horse, and Dr. Burns and his veterinary team are on-site at all times. 

 

BCF is also a perfect option for rehabilitating sport horses that need time off/turnout. The staff successfully nurture sport horses of all calibers including jumping superstar Goldika 559, who, after a potential career ending injury, rehabbed at BCF and returned to the Grand Prix ring to win several top Grand Prix honors before her retirement at the age of 18.
