Mare Reproduction Services

Blue Chip Farms provides full service care for mares and their resulting foals commencing from the time a mare is bred.  Reproductive preparation for current and future breeding seasons is essential. Blue Chip’s veterinarian and staff breed over 300 mares on-farm each season with over 95% success rate by closely monitoring each mare using advanced technology to electronically chart heat cycles for optimum insemination success.

Resident boarders have preferred access to Blue Chip managed stallions.

Blue Chip accepts fresh semen from other major stallions in the industry.  In permitted sire stakes programs, BCF also provides Embryo Transfer and In-Vitro services for mares and can arrange for recipient mares, including providing boarding services for those mares.
